Frida Kahlo Museum of Ice Cream

During the month of July, the Museum of Ice Cream will open in the Meatpacking District. Visitors will enjoy a variety of colorful, interactive exhibits. They will also have access to delicious ice cream. There will be 10 multi-sensory installations.

The museum will be open from 10 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays and from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on weekends. There will also be a special nighttime experience that will be priced at $49 for adults.


Hall des Lumieres

Earlier this month, the Hall des Lumieres in Lower Manhattan opened. It was the first major New York City art exhibition to feature works by Vincent Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and Frida Kahlo. Now, New Yorkers will be able to experience an immersive biography of Frida Kahlo in an exhibition opening in Dumbo, Brooklyn. This immersive experience will use virtual reality systems and artistic installations to take visitors on a journey through the artist's life.


Museum of Ice Cream's annual Pinkmas celebration

During Museum of Ice Cream's annual Pinkmas celebration, guests will enjoy twelve multi-sensory installations. Some of the highlights include a larger-than-life snow globe, a candy cane-covered hard scoop, and an interactive layer of floating sprinkles. Other highlights include seasonal food and drinks, festive crafts, and a snow-themed 3-story slide.

There are also cool photo ops in the hall of ice cream scoops. The museum also offers a take-home paper gingerbread house.
